Task 1
Nowadays, since many jobs involve working and communicating on computers. it is possible for people to work even when they are not at their workplace.
Some people think that students should attend field trips, like visiting a zoo, a museum, or a park; others believe that they should study in classrooms. Which do you think is the best way for students to learn?

1- 交通摄像头无法直接干预现场; 2- 交通摄像头不能被放置在所有地方; 3- 十字路口的交通摄像头甚至会导致一些交通事故;
1.对于现场的直接干涉不重要;更重要的是让有危险行为的驾驶员修正他们的行为;而最好的方式就是迫使他们交罚款。举例来说,当交警给超速的车开罚单的时候,其他超速的车可能会开过去。而交通摄像头会记录所有的违规行为,不会出现遗漏;所以尽管可能会有延迟,但是它通过更多的罚款对于驾驶员的危险行为进行了修正,同时比同区域的交警有更大的影响;

Many people would agree that teachers have a great responsibility.Today's question revolves around the role teachers are expected to play when teaching children. Some claim that a teacher's sole job should be to teach the school curriculum. Others argue that a teacher's responsibility also includes teaching manners that can help students function outside the classroom, such as being polite and respectful of others. Which view do you agree with and why?
Andrew
I think schools are already overloaded with a lot to do, so l would argue that teachers should always focus on curriculum since that is really what the role of schools is. I don't think it is the teacher's job to teach manners or behaviors to students because they will pick those up elsewhere.
Kelly
I agree with the view that a teacher's role extends beyond teaching the school curriculum. l think it is OK for teachers to help children pick up basic manners and behaviors, at least those expected from them in the class; otherwise, how would you expect children to interact appropriately with other children in the class?

We've been talking about the process of starting anew business. One of the most important aspects of the process is staffing-that is, deciding which people to hire. Please discuss the following question: ls it better for new businesses to hire experienced veterans of the industry or to staff the business with younger employees who are right out of university? Why do you think so?
Claire
I think a company should staff a business with the most experienced employees possible. lf you're starting a new business, you need people around you who know what they are doing and can quickly get the business up to speed. Spending time training inexperienced people will slow you down.
Paul
I understand what Claire is saying, but if you are starting a new business, you want people who are particularly enthusiastic and energetic. Who better than a recent graduate to bring those qualities to the job? You would be guaranteed an ambitious hard worker.

Today, we're examining the environmental impact of short-haul flights—those under 500 kilometers. These flights often produce significantly higher emissions per passenger than trains or buses covering the same distance. With climate concerns growing, some governments are considering banning such flights when alternative transportation exists. This raises important questions about sustainability versus convenience. Do you think short flights should be banned when other transportation options are available? Why or why not?
Paul
I don't think short flights should be banned. In emergencies or for people with mobility issues, flights might be the only feasible option. For example, my grandfather can't handle long train rides. Instead of banning, we should focus on making flights greener and improving public transportation.
Claire
I believe short flights should be banned when alternatives like trains exist. Trains are more eco-friendly and often just as fast, considering airport wait times. Last summer, I took a train from Paris to Lyon instead of flying, and it was both comfortable and better for the environment.
